Run Windows file protection (WFP) during Windows startup.
This setting enabled Windows File Protection, which is a part of System File Checker in Windows 2000/XP/2003.

Description:
Windows file protection is a part of system file checker in windows 2000 and windows xp and windows 2003. Its main function is to avoid consistency issues in dll files. It may also block changing system files. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Create a reg_dword value name " sfcdisable" (if this value doesn't exist). Right click on the option sfcdisable, and from the drop down menu, select modify. Enter the value "1" to enable the setting. Click ok. Restart the computer. Note: the other values applicable are as follows: <table><tr><td> value </td><td>description</td></tr><tr><td>0</td><td> disabled (default value).</td></tr><tr><td>1</td><td> disabled, prompt at boot to re-enable.</td></tr><tr><td>2</td> <td> disabled at next boot only, no prompt to re-enable.</td></tr><tr><td>4</td><td> enabled, with popups disabled.</td></tr></table> When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type 'regedit'.

Now, go to <b> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\] </b>, right click on the DWORD value 'SFCDisable' and select 'Modify'.

Finally set the value data as 'User Defained Value' and click 'OK'.
