Change the Size of the Windows File Protection Cache(Disk Space)

Click here to run a free scan for registry errors
This setting lets you control the maximum amount of space available to be consumed by the backup DLLs.
Level: Recommended For Experts Only
Description:
Windows file protection (wfp) saves copies of common dll files and replaces them if the original gets damaged/lost. Wfp uses an unlimited amount of disk space for its cache of system files but you can adjust according to your requirements. To change the size of the cache, you will have to make some changes in the registry key. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Create a reg_dword value name " sfcquota" (if this value doesn't exist). Right click on the option sfcquota, and from the drop down menu, select modify. Enter the value as you would feel safe to enable the setting. Here, 200mb has been considered safe. Close the registry. Restart the system. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.
