Change Windows product identification
Here you can change the Product Id of Windows that is "your version of Windows".

Description:
Windows pid is a unique code identifying your version of windows. It should be stored safely. Although, you will never require it but at the time of re-installation, it may prove to be useful. Part of it also appears on your certificate of authenticity, which you would have received if your copy of windows came pre-loaded with your computer. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If the subkey \windows\currentversion is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create an string value name productid,if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value data box, if no pid is displayed, then you must type one in. Click ok and close the registry editor. Restart your system. Open the registry editor and locate the following registry hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion edit / create a new reg_sz data type value name productid right click on the option productid, and from the drop down menu, select modify. In the modify dialog box enter value data if no pid is displayed, then you must type one in. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\]</b> key, right-click on the "ProductId" String value and click on "Modify".

Finally, enter the Product ID that you want in the text box and click on 'OK'.
