This setting enables you to set the picture of the initial logon screen wallpaper, because the wallpaper you have chosen for your desktop will be displayed after this.

Description:
This setting enables you to set the picture of the initial logon screen wallpaper, because the wallpaper you have chosen for your desktop will be displayed after this. The log-on default wallpaper will be displayed before any user log on. After log-on screen your choosen desktop wallpaper will be shown. For this go to "start->run" and enter "regedit" and search the key listed below. You can create one string value "wallpaper", if this value is not existing. Now you can set this value to change the initial logon screen wallpaper. After a restart or logoff the changes take effect. Note: in windows xp, the background image will be displayed only in case of classic logon prompt. You can only use the image format bitmap (bmp) for your log-on screen wallpaper. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop]</b> key, right-click on the "Wallpaper" String value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the "User Defined Path" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
