You can specify a default username that should be displayed with the next Windows login.

Description:
You can specify a default username that should be displayed with the next windows login. If you have a default username specified, you won't enter the username at the login process. You just have to enter your password. For this go to "start->run" and enter "regedit" and search the key listed below. You can create one string value "defaultusername", if this value is not existing. Now you can set this value to set the default username. After a restart or logoff the changes take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]</b> key, right-click on the "DefaultUserName" String value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the "User Defined Value" that should be displayed in the next Windows login in the text box and click on 'OK'.
