Enable the Classic Explorer style
This setting enables you to change your Windows shell to your familier Windows NT/95 with less features.

Description:
The latest features of windows and internet explorer like active desktop, web view, thumbnail views and the quick launch toolbar are disabled with this tweak. Windows shell is graphical user interface of windows. Therefore, the taskbar, start menu and desktop can be handled easily. The classic explorer style like windows 95/ windows nt 4.0 does not have single-click mode, web view, toolbars and other options of the active desktop. Note: 1. Windows xp: context menu of toolbars in taskbar does not appear after this tweak is enabled. Your system must have internet explorer 4.0 at least. 2. Windows 2000: options like thumbnail from views and quick launch are deleted by this tweak. 3. Windows 98 / windows me: some options like as web page from views and quick launch are removed with the enabling of this tweak. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Create dword value name classicshell in the right panel, if it does not exist. Right-click and modify the data value with 1 to enable the setting and 0 to disable it. Click ok and close the registry editor. Restart the system or logoff to see the changes taking effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\]</b> key, right-click on the blank area in the right pane and click on the "New > DWORD Value" to create a new DWORD value with the name "ClassicShell".

Third, right-click on the 'ClassicShell' DWORD value and click on "Modify".

Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
