Description:
This setting enables you to alter the user name for the auto login process. The auto login process with user name, user password and domain can avoid the secure key combination ctrl+alt+del. If your computer is connected to a network, you can specify the domain, but if your computer is not connected to a network, you can leave this value blank. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a string value defaultusername, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to match it with the name of the default user. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]</b> key, right-click on the "DefaultUsername" String Value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the user name you want for the "Windows Auto Login" and click on 'OK'.
