Display status bar in Notepad
This setting enables you to display status bar in Notepad.

Description: The status bar is available in notepad when the option is clicked in view menu since windows xp. In notepad you first have to disable the word wrap before you can change the status bar setting. Notepad is a tool, which every computer user finds easy to use. It is required to read and write text for notes, e-mails, batch files etc. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If the subkey \notepad is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create dword value name statusbar, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and make the value data 1 to enable the setting. Click ok and close the registry editor. Restart the system.
