Configure Notepad to use Word Wrap
This setting allows you to change the word-wrap feature through the registry.

Description: This setting controls the wrapping up of text to the next line when the screen in full in notepad. It can also be configured by using the edit menu in notepad. Notepad is a tool, which every computer user finds easy to use. It is required to read and write text for notes, e-mails, batch files etc. It does not automatically line-wrap text at the right margin. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If the subkey \notepad is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create a dword value name fwrap, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and make the value data 1 to enable the setting. Click ok and close the registry editor. Restart the system.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit". |

Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Notepad]</b> key, right-click on the "fWrap" DWORD value and click on "Modify". |

Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'. |
