If the subkeys \11.0\common\desktopalerts is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create a dword value name timeon, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value data box to give a decimal value between 0 and 4294964295. This value is in milliseconds. The hexadecimal value is fffff448.
