Clear recent file list of Publisher in MS Office 2003
If you do not want that other people can see the items you have opened

Description:
The recent publisher list contains the files opened or used during the last 30 days. Windows has the feature, which enables it. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below - \11.0\publisher\recent file list. Now, delete all registry entry on the right pane, which has file[1..n] like file1, file2, file3 and file4 as string value except default. Click ok to close the registry. Logoff or restart your system. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Publisher\Recent File List\]</b> key, right-click on the all registry entry on the right pane, which has File[1..N] like file1, file2, file3 and file4 as string value except default and click on "Delete".

Finally, the right pane will look like below.
