Change places bar icons size in MS Office 2000

This setting lets you change the places bar icons size to small.

Description:
The places bar is the left pane in the save as dialog box, for example, where you will find icons, which you get on desktop. The default icon size for the microsoft office places bar is large. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If the subkey \9.0\common\open find\places is not present, create it as explained below. Now, create dword value name itemsize, if this value does not exist and modify the data value to 0 for small icon and 1 for default setting (large icon). Click ok to close the registry. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Common\Open Find\Places\]</b> key, right-click on the blank area in the right pane and click on "New > DWORD Value" to create a new DWORD value with the name "ItemSize".
Third, right-click on the 'ItemSize' DWORD value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the value "0" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
