Remove Address Bar from Internet Explorer.
This setting can disable the Address Bar from being shown in Internet Explorer.

Description:
Generally, the address bar is also displayed with other internet explorer toolbars by default. If you want, you can remove this bar from internet explorers browser window. For this, go to start > run, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If any of the subkeys internet explorer\toolbars\restrictions is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create a dword value noaddressbar, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can remove address bar from internet explorer's window. However, to show the address bar again in internet explorer window, you have to add it manually. Go to address bar menu item under view > toolbars menu and add a checkmark to it. The address bar will appear in your internet explorer. Important: in windows 2003, to show the address bar in internet explorer, simply change the dword value of noaddressbar to 0. The changes will take effect after a restart or logoff. Note: this setting can be applied to windows explorer as well. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\]</b> and right-click to create a subkey "Internet Explorer" under "Microsoft".

Create another key "Toolbars" under "Internet Explorer".

In the hierarchy create "Restrictions" subkey.

Then, right-click in the open area to create a DWORD value with the name "NoAddressBar".

Next, right-click on "NoAddressBar" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "1" in the text-box and click on 'OK'.
