Disable the expanding of the menu item New in Internet Explorer (For Current User).
This setting can reduce the default list of sub-menu item New in Internet Explorer to a single-sized option list New Window, which can open a new Internet Explorer window.

In internet explorer, if you go to file > new, the menu item will expand to show options like new window, message, post, contact and internet call. This setting can remove all the sub-menu options and can show only the option new window in main menu. For this, go to start > run, enter "regedit" and navigate to the key listed below. You can create a dword value "noexpandednewmenu", if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can disable expanding of the menu item "new". However, if you want to get back to the original state, change the value to 0. The changes will take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\]</b>, right-click in the open area to create a new DWORD value "NoExpandedNewMenu".

Third, right-click on the 'NoExpandedNewMenu DWORD value and click on "Modify".

Finally, enter the value "1" in the text-box and click on 'OK'.
