Description:
From this setting you can disable the themes tag which prevents the user from selecting an alternate theme. Themes normally include a background plus sounds, icons and other elements. This setting enables you to disallow the themes tag, so a user cant choose a different theme. A desktop theme is a graphical user interface (gui) referring to the interests of the user that represents ordinary sounds, icons, pointer, wallpaper or screensaver. For this go to "start->run" and enter "regedit" and search the key listed below. You can create one dword value "notoolbarcustomize", if this value is not existing. Now you can set this value to disallow the desktop themes tag. After a restart or logoff the changes take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\]</b> key, right-click and click on "New > Key" to create a new key with the name "Explorer".
Third, right-click on the blank area in the right pane and click on "New > DWORD Value" to create a new DWORD value with the name "NoThemesTab".
Fourth, right-click on the 'NoThemesTab' DWORD value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
