Description:
This setting enables you to remove the settings tab from the display properties dialog box. By using settings tab you can configure screen resolution and display color quality. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, create a dword value nodispsettingspage, in the right panel, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can remove the tab settings from the display properties dialog box. However, if you want to get back to the original state, change the value to 0. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. Note: in windows vista, access to display settings option is restricted while in windows 98 & me half of the tabs i.e. Settings, web and effects are removed with this setting.
