Remove Themes and Appearance tabs from Display Properties dialog (For All Users).
This setting enables you to remove Themes and Appearance tabs from the Display Properties dialog box.

Description:
This setting enables you to remove themes and appearance tabs from the display properties dialog box. By using appearance tab you can change the layout of windows and dialogs with the changed color and font while the themes tab enables to apply the desired windows theme. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, create a dword value nodispappearancepage, in the right panel, if this value does not exist. Then, right-click and modify its value to 1 which can remove the tabs themes and appearance from the display properties dialog box. However, if you want to get back to the original state, change the value to 0. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. Note: in windows vista, the themes and appearance option in right panel is removed from the window. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Now, go to <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\] </b> and create a DWORD value "NoDispAppearancePage".

Then, right-click on "NoDispAppearancePage" and select 'Modify'.

Finally, set the value data as "1 " and click 'OK'.
