Set screen savers password-protection
This setting enables you to specify if your screen savers are password protected and it also disallows the user to alter the preferences of your password-protection.

This setting enables you to specify if your screen savers are password protected and it also disallows the user to alter the preferences of your password-protection. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a dword value screensaverissecure, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can set the password protection for your screen savers. However, if you want to get back to the original state, change the value to 0. Note: if you dont use this setting, windows will allows the user to turn password protection on and off. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\] </b>, key and create a new key with the name "Windows" under "Microsoft".

Then, create a "Control Panel" key under "Windows".

Then, create a "Desktop" key under "Control Panel".

Now, right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name "ScreenSaverIsSecure" in "Control Panel" key.

Next, right-click on "ScreenSaverIsSecure" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "1" (Base Hexadecimal) without quotation in the text box and click on 'OK'.Once you are done. Exit from registry. After a restart or logoff, the changes take effect.
