Specify the background image and wallpaper style

These settings lets you specify the background wallpaper and display style.

Description:
When this setting is defined, users can not choose an alternative background image. The wallpaper image can still be displayed through display properties. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, create a string value name, wallpaper, if it does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value data box with the file name and the valid path. Now, create another string value name, wallpaperstyle, if it does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value data box with the following values to enable the setting: 0 (zero) > centered (default value) 1 > tiled 2 > stretched click ok and close the registry editor. After logoff or system restart, changes take effect.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\] </b> and create a new key as "System".

Create a new 'String value' as "Wallpaper".

Right Click on "Wallpaper" and select 'Modify'.

Finally, set the value data as "User Defined Wallpaper Images" and click 'OK'.

Create another 'String value' as "WallpaperStyle".

Right Click on "WallpaperStyle" and select 'Modify'.

Finally, set the value data as "User Defined Wallpaper Images" and click 'OK'.
