Description: When you go to my computer folder, press the right mouse button and choose properties or when you go to start > setting > control panel and perform a double-click on system, the system properties dialog box will appear. Likewise, selecting my computer properties in windows explorer or alt + enter key combination with my computer selected, also calls the same dialog box. If this setting is enabled, you can prevent the user having access to the system properties dialog box, using any of the above channels. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a dword value nopropertiesmycomputer, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can hide the properties dialog box. However, if you want to show the dialog box back, change the value to 0 or delete the value. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.
