Description: Control panel is a repository of various applets/administrative tools that can be used to configure the windows, applications, and services environment. If you go to start > settings menu and select control panel, windows will open the control panel window. This setting can prevent changes to the access control section to share resources using network system icon in the current applets list displayed in the control panel. It hides the access control tab from the network dialog box. Through the access control tab you can specify who can have access to each file or printer you share. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If the subkey \network does not exist, create it as explained below. Then, create a dword value nonetsetupsecuritypage in the right panel. Now, right-click and modify its values to 1 which can prevent changes to the access control section. However, if you want to enable the option back, change the value data to 0 or delete the added values. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.
