Change the Vertical Icon Spacing

By using this tweak you are able to specify the number of pixels that appear vertically between icons.

Windows determines the default number of pixels between icons based on the icon title font and the display which is used. Windows nt versions 3.5 and 3.51 do not include a graphical user interface for changing vertical icon spacing. But, windows nt version 4.0 includes a graphical user interface. By using this tweak you are able to specify the number of pixels that appear vertically between icons. For this, go to start > run menu, enter "regedit" and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can modify a reg_sz (string value) value "iconverticalspacing", or create if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to number which represents amount of pixels to appear vertically between icons. Note: value which you will set doesnt represent exact number of pixels. If you enter "75", thats not mean 75 pixels. For example a value of "-1155" is equivalent to 45 pixels, "-1455" is equivalent to 65, "-2000" is equivalent to 101. Notice that these are all minus values. Default value is "-1125" which is equivalent to 43 pixels. Restart your system for the change to take effect.
