Change program files directory
This tweak lets you change the program files directory as the default directory.

Description:
This setting permits you to change the directory used as the default location for software applications. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, create a string value name programfilesdir, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value data box with the new directory name as default directory to enable the setting. Click ok and close the registry editor. After logoff or system restart, changes take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

Finally, enter the user-defined path such as "C:\New Program Files" in the text box and click on 'OK'.

Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\]</b> key, right-click on the "ProgramFilesDir" String Value and click on "Modify".

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
