Show options on logon dialog box

This setting lets you control the options to enter a domain or to log on using a dial-up connection shown on the Windows logon box.

Description:
When options button on the logon dialog box is clicked, the domain dropdown list becomes active and the option to logon via dial-up connection appears. The domain dropdown list gives opportunity for selecting the domain to which to log on, while the dial-up option lets the user select a dial-up connection to use. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, create a dword value name, showlogonoptions, if it does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value data box with 1 to enable the setting and 0 to disable it. Click ok and close the registry editor. After logoff or system restart, changes take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\]</b> key, right-click on the "ShowLogonOptions" DWORD value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
