Hide My Pictures from the Start menu (For All Users)
This tweak is used to hide My Pictures from the Start menu.
Level: Recommended For Novice Users
Description:
My pictures contains images, graphics and digital photos but this setting removes it and also removes the corresponding checkboxes from the start menu customization cpl. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If the sub key \explorer\ is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create a dword value nosmmypictures, if this value does not exists. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 to hide. However, if you want to display, change the value to 0. After restart or logoff, changes take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Go to <b> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policie s\]</b>, key and create a new key with the name "Explorer" under "Policies".
Now, right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name "NoSMMyPictures" in "Explorer" key.
Next, right-click on "NoSMMyPictures" and click on 'Modify'.
Finally, enter the value "1" (Base Hexadecimal) without quotation in the text box and click on 'OK'. Once you are done. Exit from registry. After a restart or logoff, the changes take effect.
