Description:
All services have a setting controlling how they are started (for example: manually, automatically or disabled). By using this tweak you are able to change that setting. For this, go to start > run menu, enter "regedit" and navigate to the registry path listed below. Under that key you will find sub keys representing the devices and services on the system. Open the sub key corresponding to the service you wish to change and look for the dword value start, in the right panel. Now, right-click and modify its value to "2" for automatic, "3" for manual or "4" for disabling the service on the system at startup. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Go to <b> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\(Service Name) \]</b>, right-click on "Start" and click on 'Modify'.
Finally, enter the new value in the text box and click on 'OK'.
