By using this tweak you can remove the integration of Windows Messenger into Internet Explorer. It will remove both the toolbar icon and Tools menu item.

By using this tweak you can remove the integration of windows messenger into internet explorer. It will remove both the toolbar icon and tools menu item. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click to rename the key {fb5f1910-f110-11d2-bb9e-00c04f795683} with a hyphen(-) sign preceding it. The key will look as -{fb5f1910-f110-11d2-bb9e-00c04f795683}. However, if you want to get back to the original state, remove minus symbol. Restart your system for the change to take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.
