Description:
This setting is used to disable download completion notification in internet explorer. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the string value notifydownloadcomplete, in the right panel, to no which can disable download completion notification. However, if you want to enable the feature back, change the value data to yes. Restart internet explorer for the change to take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\]</b> , right-click in the open area to create a String Value with the name "NotifyDownloadComplete" in "Main" key.
Next, right-click on "NotifyDownloadComplete" and click on 'Modify'.
Finally, enter the value User "No" without quotation in the text box and click on 'OK'. Once you are done. Exit from registry. After a restart or logoff, the changes take effect.
