Internet explorer has a feature to load a user defined style sheet to set browser based preferences for web page styles. Unauthorized programs may try popup display and tracking of your activity without your knowledge. You may find some other problems, if you have removed the option to disable style sheets from the properties of internet explorer. The problems may come like the style sheets are not being re-enabled in internet explorer 6, if they have been made disabled in internet explorer 5. This tweak allows you to enable user given style sheets. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If the subkey \styles does not exist, create it as explained below. Then, create a dword value name, use my stylesheet in the right panel. Now, right-click and modify its value to 1 which can enable user given stylesheets. However, if you want to show the original options back, change the value data to 0 or delete the added value. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. Note: disabled style sheets can affect the appearance of web sites or the internet explorer desktop.
