If you want to make changes just for current user, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the hkey_current_user registry path listed below. You can create a dword value persistent, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 0 to delete all the temporary internet files stored on your computer when the browser is closed. However, if you want to leave these files, change the value to 1. First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b> [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Cache\]</b>,right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name "Persistent" in "Cache" key.

Next, right-click on "Persistent" and click on 'Modify'.

Enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.

In order to make changes to all users accounts, goto <b> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Cache\]</b>, right-click on "Persistent" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "01 00 00 00" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
