The Most Frequent List in new Start menu displays the application names that are regularly used. This setting can disable the shortcut of the game Pinball from appearing in the list.

Windows displays the most frequently accessed programs, in left panel of the new start menu called most frequent list. This list makes the program accessibility comfortable for users. But, with this setting you can disable the shortcut of the game pinball in most frequent list of start menu. Pinball is a board game in the entertainment pack under programs > games in the start menu. Pinball.exe is the executable program for this game. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If any of the subkeys applications\pinball.exe is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create a string value nostartpage, if this value does not exists, and leave the data blank. This removes the shortcut to the game. However, if you want to get the game shortcut back in start menu, delete the subkey pinball.exe. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. Note: the restrictions will apply on all user accounts created on your system. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.


First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to <b> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Applications\] </b> and create a new key "Pinball.exe".
Now, create a String value as "NoStartPage".
Keep the value data blank to disable Pinball game to appear in the 'Start Menu'.
