Description:
This color setting is used for hyperlinks, which open popup windows. This has three values red, green and blue. These values specify the color of text that displays a popup panel e.g. Dictionary or word list. The valid values for the colors start from 000 to 999, which represent highest intensity. The three values of 000 000 000 represent the colors of red, green and blue respectively and this combination displays black text on a white background. The high-contrast color schemes are used to optimize the visibility of screen objects for people with visual impairments. With this setting you can change the color of hypertext of windows help file. Its a text when chosen, displays a pop-up panel (the type of panel used for glossary definitions). You can experiment till you get the desired colors. For this, go to start > run, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, double-click on the string value systemroot to copy the contents of the value data field from the dialog. In the second step, open windows explorer and paste the windows folder path in the address bar. Here, look for the [windows help] (without quotes) section and add popupcolor=000 000 999 (without quotes) in a new line under the section heading. If the [windows help] section does not exist, create it at the end of the file and type the code information given below. The code should appear as below in the win.ini file: <table><tr><td>&nbsp;code</td></tr><tr><td><table><tr><td><br>[windows help]<br>popupcolor=000 000 999<br></td></tr></table></td></tr></table> finally, save the file.
