This tweak lets you to change the name of MP3 copying support in Windows Media Player.

Description:
Windows media player has plug-in support for mp3 encoding. You must have licensed third party compatible mp3 encoder. Windows supports the audio compression manager application programming interfaces to communicate with the mp3 encoders. Windows media player supports only plugging in an mp3 encoder. Only compressions supported by codec create valid mp3 files. The codec accept only raw data and output-compressed data. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If any of the subkeys, \settings\mp3encoding do not exist, create them as explained below. Then, create a string value name, preferredcodecname in the right panel. Now, right-click and modify its value with the new name that support mp3 copying. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. Note: the value for preferredcodec is limited to 255 characters. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Fifth, right-click on the 'PreferredCodecName' String value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the desired name in the text box and click on 'OK'.
