By default, windows blocks the installation of signed code if it has an invalid digital signature. Code with invalid signatures cannot be installed. The user only sees one prompt per page per control. Internet explorer places an ellipsis on the text, when the text that is given for the application description, file name, or publisher name is wider than the dialog box in width. This helps indicate to the user that there is more text that they are not seeing and they were being forced to install. This makes affect download and installation of some genuine software that are not digitally signed. To allow installation of all kinds of software, make the below changes to the registry. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the dword value runinvalidsignatures, in the right panel, to 1 which can allow software download without signatures. However, if you want to revert to the original state, change the value data to 0. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type 'regedit'.
Next, go to <b> [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Download\] </b> and right click on the DWORD value 'RunInvalidSignatures' and select 'Modify'.
Finally, set the value data as '1' to and click 'OK'.
