Show protected operating system files.
This setting can let you to show the protected operating system files which are required to start and run Windows.

Description:
Some files that have the system and hidden attributes are not viewable by default. These files are required to start and run windows. Such files are not visible, even if the option to show hidden files and folders is enabled. To make these protected operating system files visible; you need to make changes to the registry. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a dword value, showsuperhidden, if it does not exist, at hkey_current_user and defaultvalue at hkey_local_machine registry paths. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1, which can show protected operating system files. However, if you want to get back to the original state, change this value to 0 or delete the dword values. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type 'regedit'.

Second, go to <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\SuperHidden\] </b> and right click on the DWORD value 'DefaultValue' and select 'Modify'.

Third, set the value data as '1' and click 'OK'.

Fourth, go to <b> [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\] </b> and right click on the DWORD value 'ShowSuperHidden' and select 'Modify'.

Finally set the value data as '1' to show protected operating system files and click 'OK'.
