Description: The language bar is a toolbar that appears on your desktop automatically. It provides a quick way to change the input language or keyboard layout from your desktop. You can move the language bar anywhere on your screen, minimize it to the taskbar, or hide it. But, most of the users never use language bar which unnecessarily covers the taskbar space on their system. So, to get rid of it change the below registry settings. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the dword value showstatus, in the right panel, to 3 which can disable language bar. However, if you want to enable the feature back, change the value data to 4. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.
