Description:
Windows vista may not permit you to configure settings associated with a screen saver, but with the assistance of this tweak you can configure it to your requirements straight from registry. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create the dword values numribbons and ribbonwidth in the right panel. Now, right-click and modify their values with the desired data. The values of numribbons can range between 1-256 whereas the ribbonwidth takes higher integer values like 20000000. Refresh view of your system for the changes to take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type 'regedit'.
Second, go to <b> [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Screensavers\Ribbons\] </b> and create a DWORD value as 'NumRibbons'.
Third, right click on the DWORD value 'NumRibbons' and select 'Modify'.
Fourth, set a user defined value data between range 1-256 to select the number of Ribbons to be displayed and click 'OK'.
Now, again create a DWORD value under the key 'Ribbons' as 'RibbonWidth'.
Now, right click on the DWORD value 'RibbonWidth' and selkect 'Modify'.
Finally set higher user defined integer values like '20000000' to select the width of the Ribbons and click 'OK'.
