Description:
Code name for the third-generation I/O architecture that is designed as a flexible, reliable, serial I/O architecture. This architecture scales to the theoretical limits of copper, meeting the needs of several commercial computer markets, such as desktop, mobile, server, communications and embedded applications. The architecture is compatible with the existing PCI programming model. The Arapahoe Work Group consists of a group of companies working on this standard.
