Description:
A very powerful encryption technology that was developed by RSA Data Security, Inc. The RSA algorithm is based on the fact that it is not possible to factor very large numbers efficiently. Deducing an RSA key takes a lot of time and requires a very large amount of computer processing power. The RSA algorithm is the standard for data sent over the internet, and it is built into many software products. RSA is an acronym which stands for Rivest, Shamir, and Adelman, who were the inventors of the technique.
