Description:
 To backup to an FTP server it is recommend to create a local encrypted backup before uploading it using a separate FTP software. Since FTP is not a secure protocol, you should also consider using SSH. Some backup applications supports the FTP protocal and can schedule backups to be uploaded to an online server on a daily basis.
