Description:
A secondary IDE interface that is almost identical to a primary IDE interface except that it uses a different interrupt and I/O address to avoid conflicts with the primary interface. A secondary port allows connecting another ribbon cable with two more ATA devices, such as a hard disk, ATAPI CD-ROM or ATAPI tape, for a total of four.
