Description:
A high-capacity floppy disk drive originally developed by Iomega Corporation. Zip disks can hold 100 or 250 MB of data, and they are only slightly larger than floppy disks. Because zip disks are inexpensive and durable, they are often used for backing up hard disks and for transporting large files.
