Symantec's Norton Ghost 2003 is a backup disk-imaging program.
Symantec offers Norton Ghost by itself or as part of Norton
System Works Professional 2004. Norton Ghost 2003 was designed
for technically proficient computer users and is not recommended
for novices.
Norton Ghost 2003 makes an exact copy of everything
on a hard disk. Norton Ghost is a useful tool for system recovery
or for transferring the contents of a PC to a laptop or another
PC. Users can store drive images on most kinds of media, including

external USB or FireWire hard drive, or CD-RW and DVD-RW/+Rw
discs. Although Norton Ghost's main purpose is to make a back
up of a an entire disk, users can also restore specific files
or folders.
