This is the main windows in WinTasks. It gives you access to the different tools available in the application.
1. From the toolbars, you can access most of features in WinTasks. Use the buttons to modify processes. Most commands can also be found in the menus and as keyboard short cuts.
2. The process list presents the information available on each process. Columns can easily be enabled/disabled from the View menu.
Name: Name of the process.
Executable: The path and .exe-file.
Priority: The priority of the process, both class and exact.
Threads: The number of threads owned by the process.
CPU Usage: The current CPU usage per process (1s/sec).
MEM Usage: The current memory usage per process (1s/sec).
Started: The creation time of the process.
3. The Info window gives you a small description of most common processes to help you decide what can be stopped. You can also save your own notes for any process or rename the process if you like.
