Open the registry editor from Start, Run and type in : regedit
* Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
* From the Edit menu, select Find.
* In the Find What field, type Disable Performance Counters.
* Click Find Next. This locates a performance key that may have this registry
value set to 1.
* Delete this entry or change value to 0
* Press F3 to find the next occurrence of this registry value.
* Repeat the previous two steps until no performance keys have the Disable
Performance Counters value set to 1.
