WinTasks experiences problems with other system monitoring applications and utilities. Problems are also encountered where Internet security applications are concerned too. It is recommended that you temporarily disable these in order to pinpoint the problem.
At present we can confirm SpyDoctor, X1 Desktop Search, Privacy Guardian, TrojanHunter, SpyBot, Zonealarm, Norton and BitDefender are known to cause conflicts. If you have any of these installed please let us know and we will attempt to assist you further, if you don't please let us know what other non-Microsoft products you have installed on your computer.
Another suggestion is that you ensure you're logged on as an Administrator.
