AGP-125 is a BIOS driver used on an ASUS P4S266 model motherboard of a Sony VAIO PCV RX730.The drivers are available on the original install Compact Disc usually provided with the device on purchase. The drivers can also be downloaded from the official Sony website usually in a zip file. Effective installation of the drivers requires that one first downloads the file and saves it on the computer. The next step would be to unzip the file and connect the AGP-125 device to the computer after which he or she should double click on the driver icon to install. Even when the drivers are installed from the original CD, the user of the machine will need to update the drivers constantly for the device to perform optimally. It is also recommended that one makes a windows update every time the Silicon Integrated System (SiS) drivers are updated.
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates
To avoid conflicts in the AGP-125 device, users should avoid using older versions of the device drivers. More to the conflict created by such drivers, the machine may also display error messages whenever the user tries to access the AGP-125 drivers. Other models related to the AGP-125 device include the AG315-32, AG315P-32, AG315-64, AG315S-64, AG315E-32, AG315ET-32, VP-315S1, VP-315S2, S150 and S151. Some of the packages that support the AGP_125 device include the sis3152k.zip, model 188.8.131.520 for windows, win9x.exe model 4.13.01.2040 for windows, sis31589.zip model 4.13.01.2040 for windows and sis315xp.zip model 184.108.40.2060 for windows. Most users prefer the AGP devices to PCI since the former has more speed, thus allowing computer users to transfer graphics much faster. This happens because PCI is the older version of data transfer. Depending on the make of the AGP device that one has, the data transfer can be up to four times higher than that of PCI. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and AGP-125 errors before installing any driver updates.
