The Bluetooth Imaging Responder device is used in conjunction with the Bluetooth Basic Imaging Profile or BIP. BIP is what enables devices to function together to browse, transmit and accept images. It specifies how imaging devices can be managed remotely, and transfer and print images. This profile also includes the capability of resizing and converting images so that they can be tailored for an accepting device. There are 2 configurations or roles defined for the BIP which are the Bluetooth Imaging Initiator and the Bluetooth Imaging Responder. The Bluetooth Imaging Initiator is responsible for initiating the feature for Basic Imaging. This device should provide at least one client for object exchange and should fulfill requirements for interoperability for the GOEP client if not specified in different manner in the current profile. For supporting some functions, the Bluetooth Imaging Initiator should likewise provide a server for object exchange and fulfill requirements for interoperability for a server defined in the GOEP.
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates
The Bluetooth Imaging Responder device on the other hand is responsible for responding to the feature of Basic Imaging initiated by the Bluetooth Initiator device. This device should also provide at least one server for object exchange. It should likewise conform to the requirements for interoperability for the GOEP client, if not specified in different manner in the current profile. For supporting some features, the Bluetooth Imaging Responder device should also provide a client for object exchange and conform to the requirements for interoperability for a client defined in the GOEP. Mandatory mapping is not required among the baseband slave/ master roles of the Bluetooth Imaging Responder device and the Imaging Initiator device. A mode is likewise associated with the BIP and this mode will directly affect how the Bluetooth Imaging Responder device will be configured. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and Bluetooth Imaging Responder errors before installing any driver updates.
