The Object Push Profile or OPP identifies the functions of the push server and push client. Push server and push client roles are similar to and must combine with the server and client device functions that GOEP describes. The devices that may use OPP include personal computers, cellular or mobile phones and laptop computers. Unlike many other Bluetooth devices, OPP on the other hand identify two roles, one is push server and the other is push client. A push server is basically a device which stands as an object exchange server. The push server is also a device which in turn provides a push client. This client is also known as a device that pushes and pulls objects to and from the Push Server. One good example is when sending contact info or a calendar event from a phone to another phone. Another example is by transmitting a photo from a phone to personal computers, thus, any operation that transmits data or files to computers.
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates
However, not all Bluetooth devices have an OPP support. Some mobile phones that use Bluetooth technology that also support OPP may only support sending contact info and/or calendar events using the vCard format. OPP is actually a sub-profile of the OBEX profile. OPP functionality is also usually referred to OBEX. Bluetooth makes use of short-range wireless technology. This technology was used to create Personal Area Networks or PANs. By using Bluetooth, users can exchange files, such as videos, mp3s, and other files to other devices that also use the Bluetooth Technology. Another use of the technology is to provide laptops or PDAs wireless Internet access through Bluetooth and mobile phones. There are also different types of Bluetooth profiles and not all devices that use Bluetooth support all profiles. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and Bluetooth OPP errors before installing any driver updates.
