The Canon i550 can generally be described as a color bubble sort of jet printer. It is an inkjet printer consisting of tiny resistors used for creation of heat inside the printer. This heat is used for vaporizing ink to ensure that a bubble ism created. The bubble is created by an expansion which caused the formation of a droplet as well as its ejection from the head of the print. A typical print head contains 128 or 64 nozzles and they are all capable of firing a single droplet simultaneously. The Canon i550 is generally small and measures 274 x 418 x 159 mm while its weight is 4.7 kg. The paper tray for outlet is located on the front while the top is cream and the base grey. The back part of the printer contains a paper inlet.
